Imagine a place… where the sea and sky hypnotise adventurous souls. A blue oasis where the sun wraps each day in brilliant white. Nestled in the cosmopolitan island, discovered by jet setters, are the island bungalows and private villas of Mykonos Blu, thoughtfully designed to reflect the cubist lines of the Cyclades. Set on a low bluff overlooking the world-famous beach at Psarou, this dream resort floats on the edge of an Aegean fantasy, just like the unique infinity pool that seems to hover in the air. The romantic bungalow suites with private pools make this one of the most sought-after hotels in the Aegean.

The hotel is in a phenomenal location on Psarou Beach. It is near the famed Nammos Club on the same beach. This also means that from afternoon through 8 p.m. the entire beach enjoys the techno beat coming from the Club’s loudspeakers. The pool is well located and is a salt water pool. Breakfast buffets are extensive and service is very good in the dining room albeit sometimes slower than one would like. But the staff’s attitude is great. We also had a lovely dinner in the dining room our first night. The hotel upgraded two of the four rooms we booked to full sea view as we had booked two with a partial sea view when we checked in. The rooms are a bit rustic, and some of them need renovation. We had several rooms as we went as a family. There are not dressers in every room. Some just have hanging space. The views of the beach and the water are fantastic from all the sea view rooms. We had an open shower and the water would end up on the floor in front of it. It’s meant to be traditional or so we were told, there is drain on the floor. Our air conditioning was poor so we were uncomfortably hot the entire week. The hotel did send their engineer a few times, but I think ultimately the system may be a bit old? They also provided us with fans on request. And they were apologetic and gave us a big discount on our final bill for the incidental charges we incurred.
What can I say about this beautiful hotel and island. Was perfect for a lady my age. The hotel was spotless and the staff very friendly, the food was excellent. The whole place was so relaxing , I would definitely recommend staying here.
This hotel is absolutely stunningly decorated, the staff are lovely - especially the staff on the beach - they went above and beyond to do anything you asked especially Kalia! She deserves a payrise :) The drinks and breakfast food were absolutely delicious - the fruit selection was great and the infused water is such a nice touch. The cocktails were made to perfection. Views are beautiful - a great location - a little bit quieter area than Paradise Beach but also close enough to be able to visit for a day. We had a brilliant time - the room was great - I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the fabulous team x
