Thanks to its prime location, at once historic and cultural, the Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal can boast a number of unique advantages right in the heart of Paris. Only a stone’s throw from the Palais Royal and its romantic formal gardens, next door to the Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens, it is nothing less than a haven of peace in a bustling capital city. Nearby is the mythical rue Saint-Honoré, the go-to address for a chic Parisian shopping spree. This 5-star boutique hotel also rubs shoulders with some of the most highly regarded fine dining venues.

Loved this hotel. My husband and I stayed in the Junior Suite with Balcony for our week-long trip to Paris (visiting from the US). The hotel is beautiful and offers a five-star, boutique feel. The decor is high end and the smell throughout the common areas delightful. The staff were incredibly hospitable and welcoming, ready to help in any way we needed. We arrived early the day of our check-in and we were granted access to our room hours ahead of the 3PM guaranteed check-in time. We were welcomed with a lovely complimentary bottle of champagne and French chocolate. Housekeeping visited multiple times throughout the day, ensuring that our room stayed tidy. We included the breakfast buffet with our booking and looked forward to the delicious breakfast each morning. The bed and pillows were comfortable, not quite as comfortable as our bed at home, but good nonetheless. The location was very convenient, walking distance to many attractions that we visited and otherwise close to metro and bus stops. We would absolutely stay here again.

We received a recomendation for the Grand hotel by a friend, so we booked it for our last two nights in Paris. We had stayed in two other properties during our France visit. The Grand Hotel was the most expensive and I'm guessing there are many better options at the same price level or lower. The property has great location and the front desk and concierge service was A plus. Service at Bar 52 needs attention. We were warmly greeted and supplied a glass of champagne upon arrival. Prior to arriving, I received an email from the grand Hotel about other services that we could take advantage of prior to arriving and during our stay. I requested the rose petal package and our room was decorated perfectly with rose petals throughout the room. A bottle of chilled champagne also waited for us in our room. The room was very nice, it overlook the courtyard (Emily in Paris). We had breakfast two days and dinner one night at Bar 52 (will review Bar 52 by itself). Food was very good, service needs some attention. Upon check out the front desk asked me to review the bill and I'm glad I did as there was a bill that was on our account that wasn't our bill. It was easy to notice and correct, but surprised it was there in the first place. We pre ordered an uber to take us to the airport and they arrived on time. It took a little longer to get out of the city but we arrived to CDG in plenty of time to get our VAT refund. Timing of stay plays a major factor in the cost of the stay and for the money we paid for this stay I was expecting a little bit more. Property and service are very good, next time in Paris I most likely would look elsewhere if the price of the grand Hotel du Palais Royal is the same.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and decided to spend our last night in Paris here. The front desk was very kind and helped us upon arrival. When we were checking in, they notified us that we had been upgraded to a junior suit. The room was beyond stunning and the staff were all amazing. The room was nearly sound proof and the AC was a treat. I will be staying here the next time I am in Paris, absolutely perfect
