Golden Circle Suites

My wife booked this place for my 40th (which is actually tomorrow). Tonight is our last night here and I wanted to leave them a review. I don't actually have anything negative to say other than we are moving on tomorrow and I have to pack shortly... I don't like packing! Really accommodating. Extremely clean accommodation. Staff are friendly. Car park is easy to get in and out of. To be totally Frank with you I would definitely stay here again and i really hope i do. It is literally minutes from everything you want or need. There is even a BK and a Mcdonalds a stones throw away. I've never met the management but I would like to thank them for the free chocolates and the room upgrade bexause it was my birthday - little things like that go a long way with me. By the way the locals are really friendly.

The hotel building seems pretty old, but it has been renovated to look newer and stylish. In reality the building's HVAC systems and other systems seem to not have been touched at all and they are insufficient. As we entered our own suite, we noticed that the air was vey bad and the temperature very high. The room temperature was 31 C (88 F) degrees. We called the customer service and complained and asked for a refund about the bad and hot air. The only reply we got was "The other nearby hotels don't have a proper AC either". We didn't get any refund for the three nights we had booked. The location is perfect and booking went great. Sadly a location can't fix a poor building. In the end we left the hotel and booked another hotel nearby that had a proper AC.

I want to say thank you for the great service provided by Golden Circle Suites team during my stay in Rovaniemi. I had the chance to stay in one of the Suites for one week and I was really happy about my whole stay. Before my arrival, the team answered all my questions and prepared everything that I needed. When I arrived and discovered the suite I loved the design and beautiful furniture. I really felt at home. The beds were perfect and very comfy and the room was clean! The kitchen is a real plus, it is very practical and nicely equipped. The sauna is a luxury that we used a lot as well as the balcony. The breakfast was also really nice with a lot of choice. Another great thing is the location of Golden Circle Suites: we only had to walk 5 minutes to reach supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The bus stop for Santa’s Village is also less than 5 minutes away walking distance. From the suites we also went to the forest which is about 20 minutes away walking distance. Just amazing.
