Gale South Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton

The bathroom area was larger than the actual bedroom, but the separate toilet and shower are a plus in a small room. There is no desk and no real room to sit outside of the bed. The room, fixtures, paint, linen were new and very clean. The pool is small so get there early. There is beverage service at the pool and a neat four floor bar. There is a club in the basement. It's just a block from the beach and a few blocks from the main commercial area. Overall clean and new.... On site restaurant was decent for breakfast. Car Valet is VERY slow and in the back of the property....lots of stairs if you want to haul your own bags. Hotel is good with texts before stay and their level of service when we needed, was excellent.

The Gale is a hidden gem on Miami Beach. A boutique hotel that has an awesome bar and Italian restaurant on the main level. The front desk staff are extremely accomadating and friendly. We had to store our luggage before check in and after we checked out which the bell staff handled by delivering our bags to our room immediately (wiithout having to request) when we returned and again without having to ask, when we were leaving, he took them out to the street to meet our Uber. The roof top pool is small but beautiful and the water temperature was perfect. The pool area has plenty of umbrellas and covered seating as well as recliners for sunbathers. The bar staff are always nearby to take your order. The rooms themselves are small which is typical for a boutique restaurant, but it felt brand new, large flat screen TV, the beds and linens are new and very comfortable. The bathroom shower and towels are excellent, worthy of a 5 star rating. We love the location. There are many great restaurants in walking distance in both directions. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend the Gale!

THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOR FAMILIES- the shower has no door from the rest of the room and the whole bathroom area is visible from the bedroom. We booked this as a family- 2 adults and 2 kids who are teens. For showering, everyone in the room can see the shower. There are windows around the mirror area that go right to the bedroom. I was told after the fact that this is a known issue at the hotel. It was very inconvenient. The room was also incredibly small. Would not recommend.
