All the restaurants have good food but the teppanyaki experience at ShoJi was a highlight! Everyone who works at this resort provided exceptional service and helped to make my trip a memorable one. There are two standout employees that I must highlight. First, Cornelio at the aqua bar always remembered me and made my drinks with the biggest smile and kind words. Second, Lancelot on the entertainment team always out of his way for me and my family to have an enjoyable experience. He remembered my name and made sure to acknowledge me each time we crossed paths. Lancelot, Cornelio, and the rest of the staff made this an amazing trip to the Finest Playa Mujeres resort!

This is the second time staying at this fantastic resort. I have to say that this resort has to be the best resort in all of Mexico. My wife and I stayed in the Excellence Club which is an adults only building and comes with many perks. The rooms are very spacious and kept super clean every day, thanks to individuals like Orquidia who kept our room spotless and well supplied with towels and everything we needed. One of the perks is having a private beach for Excellence Club members, this part of the beach is where you really see the detail to service that this resort provides and that starts with an individual named Enrique who took care of us every single day with some help from Pita and Angel. Every single day Enrique would make sure that you were having the perfect day and everything was okay not with just the beach but your entire stay. Then there is 3 other individuals at the Excellence Club beach who are there to make sure that you never go thirsty or hungry and I can't thank them enough because I know that it is not easy walking on that sand every single day in that heat and my heart goes out to Carlos, Victor and Toledo. Thank you for making our vacation a memorable one. Now onto the restaurants where making reservations does not exist at this resort, just show up give your room number and in you go, depending on what time you eat, sometimes there is a wait but not to long. We stayed 10 nights and ate at every single restaurant with not one single complaint with any of our meals. Food was fantastic along with the service. I would like to thank a few of our waiters who provided us outstanding service and these individuals were Alejandro at Insieme Trattoria, Marcus at Le Petit Plaisir, Henry at Lizo, Luis and Carlos at Shoji and probably the best waiter I have ever had at any restaurant I have ever eaten at and that was Andres at the Surf & Turf this individual goes above and beyond to make you happy. Also I would like to mention the buffet at The Market Kitchen, my wife and I ate breakfast and lunch here almost every day and all the staff and all the food here is outstanding. I did have one issue at Building 6 and it has nothing to do with the resort but with certain guests that were staying there and felt they were the only ones in the entire building. When you are staying in an adults only building act like adults and don't be screaming to your friends down the hall qt 2am. This happened on more than 1 occasion and recommend that better security at building 6 could have handled this situation right away and stopped many guests from being awakened by the noise. Sound travels pretty good in this building. Overall my stay at this resort will be one to remember for a very long time and cannot wait for the next time.

My family (8yo daughter, mom & dad) stayed at Finest Playa Mujeres for five days at the end of February - our first all-inclusive experience. The resort is beautiful and immaculate. No detail is missed in keeping the resort looking so good. Location-wise, it's about 45 minutes from Cancun airport and it was very easy to get a taxi. Security at the resort is very strict - multiple guard check points and a detailed log of who is coming and going. Taxi drivers have to show IDs to enter and leave the property. The resort sits on a private beach that is easily accessible for guests and just steps from the main pool so going back and forth is really easy. There are 12 total pools beyond the private pools some of the rooms have. Having so many pools was great for always being able to find a spot somewhere and being able to choose a pool based on your energy level...the main pool has swim up bars and music and is more of a high traffic area, as where the pools that adjoin each building are quieter areas so something for everyone. The restaurants are all good. The food is not great but this is our first all-inclusive experience and we heard other guests saying that the food is very good for an all-inclusive hotel. What we loved were all of the different themes and options: a tapas restaurant, steak house, classic burgers/American place, Italian and seafood restaurants on the beach, food truck with tacos, nachos and other quicker bites, and a coffee/sweets cafe that is open most of the day. Plus 24-hour room service and food service at any pool or on the beach. And that's not all the options. The two areas that made us fall in love with Finest Playa Mujeres are the events programming and staff. The programming was excellent and there were more things in the day that we wanted to do than we had time for. Highlights for us were the daily beachside food and drink demos - one day they made fresh guacamole and ceviche and taught us about the ingredients and process and then we all ate up. Another day we did a margarita class and had three different types and learned about technique and differences for each. On our last day there we made our own exfoliant and hand lotion with fresh aloe plants. There were also so many experiences that highlighted Mexican traditions and culture which was really important to us. The resort location doesn't make it easy to plan excursions with children, but the entertainment team brought so much of what we hoped to do and learn to us
