A multi-million dollar renovation at Fairmont Royal Pavilion has dramatically changed the hotel’s guest rooms and raised the bar for luxury hospitality in Barbados. In November 2017 the restoration, designed to significantly enhance the facilities of the Fairmont Royal Pavilion, Barbados was completed with the unveiling of newly restored guest rooms – all which are directly beach front.

All I can say is wow! My wonderful husband surprised me for my 50th birthday to a 4 night stay at this magnificent hotel. The service was started perfectly with the fast track through customs upon arrival, Michael was onsite quickly to drive us to the hotel. We arrived and sat in the comfortable reception whilst we booked in and Dawn took us to our beach front room. The rooms all have the most amazing and beautiful views of the beach and ocean and at night you are witness to the most spectacular sun sets. The staff cant do enough for you. You have the cheeky Shane whose smile and personality is infectious. Simon around the pool is first class. We were there when it was quiet but he reserved the beds around the pool for us and came to say goodbye when we were at lunch on our last day - Simon we wish you all the very best of luck with your future plans. The restaurant staff are all so lovely and polite and Nicole does and amazing job checking in to see if you need anything. Kyle behind the bar particularly likes an chat about the English football team and clubs - he is a Chelsea fan! Glyne helped us loads in reception and with Michael's input, they went above and beyond for us. Hurricane Beryl hit in July and reclaimed a lot of the sand but it's still beautiful. Derrick in the sports club gave fantastic tuition and we managed to paddle board - thank you! Thank you to ALL the team at the Fairmont - each and everyone of you do an amazing job.

I don't write many reviews but the team at Fairmont Royal Pavilion are top notch. I was there for 5 days over two weeks (two different stays) The surpirse greeting and escort through customs for Fairmont Guests was a great start after long flights First person that greeted me was the GM, JC who was walking through the arrival courtyard adn stopped to intorduce himself. And then Jason Young at the front desk was there, Lavern asking if i would like a welcome cocktail really made the check in experience nice as they come to you, you don't stand at a desk. Richard at the pool bar rememebered me when i returned after being gone 7 days and brought the same wine i was drinking the previous visit. Crystal at the pool was really was anticipatory. We ordered a bottle of champange the pool bar was out of so we settled for something different. While we were enjoying that she came up to the table and said she found the original bottle that we wnated down at the beach bar and brought one up to the pool bar and put it on ice. Great forward thinking on her part. Thank you to Alison who cleaned the room. Very good eye to detail. When i returned after being gone after 7 days Lavern was their with a Welcome back adn greeted me by name Thank you to everyone for a truly memorable visit (twice!). I will be back Dan

As we were staying in a local villa, we had access to the Beach Club. Beautiful beach, despite the recent hurricane. The service we received from Ryan was excellent. He is great ambassador for the hotel, and as other reviewers have pointed out, he gives all guests first class treatment. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience. Thanks Ryan 😊
