Excellence Oyster Bay

Nothing negative to say about our holiday! Everything far exceeded my expectations - the rooms are definitely 5 Star standard, the staff were all friendly and helpful, the quality of food was excellent and with a good variety of options every evening ( and yes, at least one is shut on a rotational basis every night but still plenty of options) . The entertainment wasn't 'in your face' and plenty of daytime activities on offer if you're fed up with laying in the sunshine. Particularly excellent was the Bob Marley tribute and the Rock night - fantastic singers and live musicians. Also credit to the entertainment team dealing seamlessly with having to change the shows to the outside terrace due to a problem with the ceiling in the theatre area. Also that the entertainment didn't go on past 10.30pm outside (so didn't disturb us as our room was in the main building). Only points to note are take plenty of $1 notes for tips - that staff don't make you feel it's expected but it is the 'norm' ( $2 for housekeeping $2 Mini bar $2 for drinks $5/$10 in the restaurants). And take your own straws as in keeping with the plastics waste policy none are given out - sometimes draining a cocktail without one was challenging!

I was asked by several ppl “What were the top 3 reasons you loved it so much?” ANSWER: #1) the ppl, staff friendly, helpful, accommodating, went out of their way to meet every need & desire, #2) the variety & excellent quality if every meal & poolside options, #3) while it was at 95% occupancy, I never felt crowded anywhere, the resort is huge w/plenty of beach/pool chairs & SPACE, fun activities day & night w/shows & entertainment. I MUST highlight specific staff (mostly restaurant & poolside/beach servers & entertainment) 5 in particular stand out for their warmth & exceptional care: Addick, Nikola, Sheldon, chef Martin, Orville, Jamoy & the best massage therapist Sharon then there is; Geoffrey, Kemiela, AnnMarie, bartenders Michael & Kevaugh, Vern, Dillon, Latoya, Kamiesha, Attila, Allaya, Alrick & Chenice, Racine, Psalmonie, Allayah, DeaJamel, Natalia, Rushana & spa-Shenequa

Shantel at the Kitchen Table Excellence Oyster Bay was just beyond fantastic! Her service and friendly demeanor are just the best ever. She is a joy and a credit to their level of service! So thankful we had the pleasure and fortune to meet her!
