Europe Villa Cortes is located near the beach and in an area with good shopping. Chayofita Hill and Golf Las Americas are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Siam Mall and Centro Comercial San Eugenio. Consider Medieval Adventure at Castillo San Miguel for a night out or Siam Park if you’re travelling with kids. Spend some time exploring the area’s activities, including golfing.

To be fair it is still a beautiful hotel - very well kept, stylish, large spacious rooms with generous balconies and peaceful grounds. We stayed for 2 weeks in February but left with a feeling of having paid far too much for what was on offer. The in-house restaurants were closed on most days - maybe a blessing in disguise because after having eaten at the beach club restaurant we were completely put off from visiting them anyway. The biggest let down for us though was breakfast. The layout itself was quite awkward with narrow niche’s which caused a bit of crowding. We also felt that the choice of food on offer was nowhere near 5 star standards - I’ve seen better buffets in 3 star hotels. The quality in itself wasn’t what you call “bad” - except maybe for the fake bacon but many of the products were more suited to an evening cheese and wine party than a breakfast buffet. Four days in a row there was no soft spreading cheese ( it was in fact very nice when it did arrive ) - instead there was guacamole - why ? I mentioned earlier the fake bacon - absolutely awful , something resembling spam or luncheon meat pressed into a form , cut into slices reminiscent of bacon rashers and literally as tough as boot soles. These are simple basics and a bit of show cooking with eggs doesn’t compensate in any way. Once again we feel terribly disappointed - for the money we spent here we could’ve taken an AI cruise to the Caribbean - flights included !!!

Great place to stay! I came with my family and we got a suite with sea view. The room was really clean and big. Friendly staff! Best atmosphere! Food was fresh and you get everything you wish for. Should have 6 stars!!!

We just got home from a great week at this hotel. The hotel is pretty, the pool area is great and the pool is actually warm. In several other hotels we stayed at before in Tenerife the "warm" pool was pretty cold. The breakfast buffet is really good, with lots of options if you are a celiac; I had omelette every morning. The staff are friendly as well, and the hotel is nice and clean. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the junior suite, which has a large terrasse overlooking the sea. We would definitely choose this hotel again.
