This hotel could be good but is selling itself as something it’s not. We paid a a lot of money for two rooms traveling with teens and also another family. The hotel is in a great location near to the lovely town and the facilities were obviously good once! The staff were lovely and trying very hard to make up for the poor hotel facilities. Rooms were either refurbed and nice or old and desperately needing refurbed. Dated equipment and hit and miss on whether a/c worked or not. Half the sunbeds round the pool were broken with old miss matched covers. The buffet and staff were very good as was breakfast but the option for dine around was missold as to eat in alternate restaurants on site was too expensive. It was a better option to walk to town or even get food delivered as prices of drinks and food at hotel are just ridiculous and there is no option of a soft drink with meal on half board you have to pay for water at 4 euros a bottle. If you want to eat in another restaurant on site you get a credit of £30 euros which barely covers a starter. You cannot swop lunch for dinner on half board either. We ate in town as didn’t want buffet every night and it was better value and choice at bars and restaurants in town. The bars at the hotel were run down and understaffed and a gin and tonic was 13 euros! This hotel could be good, it has location and beautiful views. Facilities need a revamp from gym and outside areas to rooms and bars. We wouldn’t come back just sadly doesn’t deliver!

Dear Sir, We have recently returned from an amazing visit to your hotel. We attended John Leeke's wedding to Sue. I have known John for over 40 years and never seen him so happy. Your attitude and the manner in which you provided for this very special occasion was fantastic, so personal and sincere. It was lovely to meet you in person. It proved to be a memorable experience. Once again a huge thankyou. Jennifer Beckett, Peter Bettaney and Lin Clowes.

The rooms are quite small for the price, even in the upgraded room we booked. Our friends had the regular rooms, old and very small. I sent my shirt to be laundered, and got it back torn and shrunken, and hidden in a bag without any notice. I found it, called three times to have someone come check it out. When finally 2 people arrived, one the assistant manager, I was told they won’t charge me for the dry cleaning but would not reimburse me for the ruined garment. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
