This is an absolutely brilliant place to have a winter sun holiday. The island is well cared for. We had an over water bungalow, which was a great experience, we were looked after by Salime the house keeper who kept the place spotless. The food was second to none, we were treated like royalty a special thanks to Iqbal and Chef Singh. The sea was warm which made for a fantastic snorkelling and diving experience. There is a beautiful sandy beach and a lovely infinity pool, a big thanks to Dineshika the pool attendant. Although we have named certain members of staff, the whole team made sure we had a great holiday. Thank you for the memories that will stay with us forever.
The island is ideal for divers and snorkelling. We had Beach Bungalow on the public beach. This is the best part of the and to be situated. The staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble when you need anything. Margaret who works long hours in the bar looked after us so well. Always smiling and made sure we were well looked after. You have the same table in the restaurant for the duration of your stay along with where possible the same waiter. The chefs cook food as you require so always fresh. Sunil was very good and made sure we had everything we required. The rooms were cleaned daily and our bed turned down every evening. . This was a lovely relaxing holiday. The staff helped us enjoy this holiday as they are all hard working and happy in their work. Well done to you all for the caring way you go about your daily jobs looking after all your guests. .
The best things about this Maldivian island are the staff and the vast array and high quality of food. I was lucky enough to have a one to one cookery lesson with one of the chefs (Vipula) after I had asked for the recipe for their delicious dahl curry. Some of the ingredients of which are grown in the vertcal and hydrophonic gardens on the island. The only disappointment was that a great deal of the "beach bungalows" aren't on a proper sandy beach at all. Lovely view of the sea, but bring sand shoes with you to climb into a shallow walled lagoon with sharp bits of broken coral in it. The best snorkelling is from the only proper beach just next to the entrance jetty. Wildlife on land, comprises lizards, hermit crabs, pigeons, herons, crows, bats and hilarious minor birds.
