Elizabeth Unique Hotel Rome is a precious residence where ancient stories interlace with modern ones, hospitality is a generous and genuine embrace, and wishes are fulfilled before being expressed.
The hotel’s cosmopolitan and never conventional atmosphere seems to evoke memories of the first modern explorers, scions of European aristocrats, who during their ‘grand tours’ came down to Rome and were especially charmed by centuries of history, art and culture. With the same intensity and refinement, in Palazzo Pulieri Ginetti, just a few minutes from the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo, right in the heart of the city, travel is celebrated as an unprecedented versatile experience, unique by vocation.

We were looking forward to our stay at the ELIZABETH. The reviews were great and the location perfect for our needs. Because we love to use the sauna, we booked a spa suite with its own, private sauna integrated. All the people working at the ELIZABETH are fabulous. Extremely nice and helpful. The whole hotel is very well maintained, very clean and we really like its design. A note about the bed: if you like hard mattresses, you will be in heaven. If you like softer ones, you will be in hell. We stayed there in February. During the day it was around 10 degrees C. (~50 F.), at night the temperature dropped to around minus 1 degree C. (~30 F.) When we entered our room, we felt like it was 18, 19 degrees C. (~65 F.) in it. We cranked up the AC/heating to 28 degrees, (~82 F.). The first day we were constantly chilly and uncomfortable (unless we hopped into the tiny little sauna :-) I suppose the AC was designed for hot Roman summer days, but definitely not for the opposite. It took about 24 hours for the room to get warmer to around 20 C.(~68 F.). And unfortunately, taking refuge in bed didn't bring any improvement either. The duvet consisted of 2 sheets with a rather thin woollen blanket in between. A decent down quilt would really be appropriate here during winter months - but unfortunately there are no such things to be found in the hotel. Completely incomprehensible from my point of view To make a long story short: The hotel is in not really built or prepared for cold winter days. We don’t like hard mattresses and we don’t like to freeze. So our stay turned out to be rather frustrating in an otherwise beautiful hotel.

Boutique hotel on quaint side street of a bustling area and within in walking distance to several notable tourist sites. Staff is wonderful and rooms are nicely situated with strangely large and well appointed bathrooms. Highly recommend getting coffee and smoothie for room service, as presentation is top notch! Concierge and Front desk gave really thoughtful recommendations for dinners and local speciality shops while arranging car services. Would stay again!

Beautiful Hotel and a great location! The facility is clean, new and well maintained. The hotel staff was excellent and friendly. Everyone we interacted with at the Elizabeth Unique wanted us to have a great experience. If you're reading this review just book the reservation, I don't think you'll find a place to stay in Rome.
