Hotel - it’s a 3 star hotel and I would say it’s slightly above that rating. It’s clean, the location is amazing, the breakfast fills a gap. We didn’t eat in the hotel other than that. The maintenance guys are friendly, as are the reception staff. The bar staff don’t seem to be very happy in their jobs! Pool - it’s a nice pool which is checked each day. The area around the pool is also jet washed each morning. The sun only gets to the side nearest the hotel in the mornings and it didn’t get to the end/other side of the pool until early afternoon. Cushions on sun loungers are stained but not an issue when own towel on top. They’re comfy. You can hire pool towels for a €20 deposit which we didn’t know until we came. Rooms - we had a one bedroomed apartment. Cleaned every day, with fresh towels. Nice size, fab shower, hairdryer, toiletries i.e. hand soap, shower gel and shampoo/conditioner. Provided with dish cloth, washing up sponge, washing up liquid and tea towel. Kettle made things have that plastic taste. As far as self-catering went, a cup of tea was all we did. Decent sized fridge, a microwave and two hobs in kitchen. Comfy beds. Beach - lovely. €21 euros for two loungers, a parasol and a table. If there’s a yellow flag on the lifeguard tower, watch out for jellyfish. Restaurants - Regina was nice and had the friendliest staff. Shanti (Indian) was a posh Indian. Again the staff were lovely, the restaurant itself is lovely and the food was nice - although the butter chicken was made using chicken thighs which personally I’m not keen on. It’s also quite pricey. Flippers has a good atmosphere, great staff, a good choice of food and is reasonably priced. The pizza at La Vela was gorgeous. Can Nuts is a great, quirky little bar - fab cocktails. We’ve used the hotel as the perfect base for a beach holiday in a lovely little resort. We first came here about 11 years ago, vowed we’d return one day, and would definitely come here again.

This was my 3rd year at El Pinar. It's in a beautiful setting in Cala Llonga, Ibiza. There is the main hotel and an annex across the road. I have stayed in both and they are kept to a high standard. The rooms are cleaned and towels changed on a regular basis. All the staff, from reception, restaurant, kitchen, bar, housekeeping, maintenance are very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and varied. I had bed and breakfast. The breakfast had such a variety from cereals, hot food, cold meats, cheeses, fruits, to juices, croissants, pancakes, toast etc.. I love it.. it's my own summer retreat! 🌞

A lovely hotel in a great location, staff were all super friendly and there were plenty of options for breakfast. Food in the restaurant was always amazing and portion sizes were always bigger than expected. Rooms were spacious and very clean, towels changed regularly. Kitchen area was well equipped. Area had a great little park for toddlers next to the beach.
