It took us ages to decide on a holiday destination, and we could not be happier with our choice - we’ve already booked to return in May! We were looking for somewhere toddler friendly, with a range of vegan food options, and a feel of luxury. After scouring reviews we fell across this absolute gem. Our room was lovely, clean and modern, with a sea view. There was wifi and Netflix available in the room which was a bonus! The grounds, beach and pools were spotless. There were lovely grass areas and flowers throughout the resort. All the staff were excellent and were so so sweet with our daughter - from reception, to cleaners, to the restaurant staff. The kids evening entertainment was fantastic - it was our 18month olds first disco and she still talks about it now - she also talks about seeing mini mouse on stage, the yellow taxi ride, the swimming pool and sings some of the songs now! The playground with the slides was also a hit. The splash park and the sea was a little daunting for her, but we think she’ll enjoy it more this year. The range of pools means nowhere felt too busy, and you could have a different vibe at each location. The and the bars are quick to get served. The resort felt safe and very big. We did leave one day to take the road train - I had hoped to see a little more of the island, but it did feel a bit like the hotel transfers drop off! We would like to walk down the beach to the local bars / shops next time. Just to be aware, there are photographers on site trying to sell you a photo shoot and pictures, which we didn’t really like, and to be fair we were left alone after we said weren’t interested There was plenty of variety of vegan options at the buffet. It would have been nice to have a few vegan options in the Al la carte restaurants that were different to the buffet options, an option at the snack bar, and the labelling could improve a little, although there was always a staff member on hand to ask (cheese salad labelled as vegan, breakfast potatoes sometimes listed with milk, sometimes listed as vegan). We booked a spa treatment each, which we both agreed was the best massage we have had (thank you Dimitirí). A fantastic stay, we can’t wait to see you all again!

If you need an experience that takes you away from realities of this world, pampers you and leaves you refreshed, then Creta Maris is the one for you. The experience begins before we get there. Be it on the phone or email, the staff are so well mannered and so understanding of your requirements that you feel welcome even before you are there! Our taxis were booked in no time and when the taxi driver did not turn up the reception tried hard to track it him down and called me to assure me that he would get there The atmosphere is exceedingly welcoming and you realise it as soon as you step in the reception. Bags are taken care of immediately; you are offered a welcome drink and taken to your accommodation. Our accommodation was not the bungalow but it was nice. It had everything you wanted; a lovely balcony, a quick walk to the beach. The room was spotless although the bathroom was probably a bit jaded. The main thing to do is to get the app and book activities from there. There was a lot of talk of people on getting the restaurant they wanted but there is no such a problem. If you don’t want to use the app or the phone the staff members are at hand in the morning when you head to your breakfast and they can book you there; it is as simple as that. The resort is enormous. There are several pools. In April, the water was colder for our liking but we found 3 small heated outdoor pools, all close to where we were staying. The highlight is of course the food. As foodies we were not disappointed at all. There are loads of options for vegetarians too. There are so many desserts to choose from. We enjoyed swimming in the sea and other activities like tennis to burn off the calories that you put on. Note that tennis gets booked real quickly so you need to plan in advance. The romantic bar in the middle of the resort is a great way to unwind after a long day. The cocktails , hot drinks are great. All inclusive is really all inclusive, with an exception of a few specific expensive drinks everything is included! One day we went over to the rock pools close to some bungalows and they are great to swim in. The water was super cool but it was still fun. A few photographers came checking if we wanted a professional photoshoot. It is that kind of a cornor on the Resort. One day we tried there water park, it was very cold but we still went ahead. The slides are enjoyable, they are not that steep. The snack bar serves good drinks and food. It is exceptionally clean. We ventured out of the resort only once using the road train but it was a boring experience, one best avoided. It just made us value the stuff inside the resort more! The road train takes you to a village, there is not much to do in that village; we had a traditional coffee in one of the cafes/taverns and that was that. The road train criss crosses the entire area before dropping you off so you need to be patient! You are better off walking to get to the restaurants and port but you won’t need to do that because you have some of the best restaurants inside the resort. The Cochlias is the best restaurant to get into; it is a BBQ style restaurant and the views are absolutely amazing! You can sit right besides the sea. Make sure you check the sunset and book an hour or so before it so that you can enjoy the colours in the sky reflected in the sea. We ended up going there twice in our 8 night stay. The Estia is at the other end of the resort, right on top. It is similar to but smaller than the main cosmos restaurant. We saw a chocolate fountain there. The traditional Pithos was great too. The Almyara is great for late rises because they keep it open to longer than Cosmos for breakfast. All in all , this was a foodie’s paradise. The staff members are all exceptional. It is a resort where you cannot go wrong even if you wanted to . We will certainly come back again.

Beautiful hotel in Greek style. A large area in the form of a village. Excellent location 10 min walk from the center of Heronissos. Very good food and diverse. The best a la carte Mediterranean restaurant. The beach is not as nice as in the photo of the folder. Too much sunbeds, Tightly located. A big minus are paper cups for drinks in Beach bars.
