Please please please turn the Pallazina restaurant away from buffet for dinner. Folks spend to much money here to have that many buffet offerings for this class of resort. Going back again this year and reading the reviews on FB that it is buffet is a shame.

This was our first trip back to CSS since the pandemic and before going I was reading reviews that were not complimentary. So I decided to check things out. Many renovations were done to bedrooms / suites over the last year. Delays did occur as bringing in supplies have been difficult world wide. However everything was done and open for guests. Our room was bright, glass sliding doors expanding the width of the room which open all the length of the terrace; brilliant bright bathroom with large walk in shower, excellent makeup mirror and double vanity. We also had a selection of liquors in our room, a mini bar replenished daily and you can request more. The new king size mattresses were extremely comfortable which was all our opinion. Lots of USB & regular plugs for easy access. AC individually controlled. The large television has many channels to choose as well as providing information regarding the resort; ability to book you dining option, spa treatments etc. Each room also has a secured safe. Room service is available although we did not order any. The Casanova Restaurant was totally redone and now you can see the chefs preparing your dinner. The food is excellent to please almost any diner. Reservations are required. You may dine on the terrace over looking the sunset or in the air conditioned diningroom. The house wine is good but there is a wine list to choose from at an additional cost. There are two other restaurants and a juice bar by the mineral pool where we spend a lot of time. Again all good. There was an issue getting Bacardi White Rum while we were there. However we had stayed at three other places and at each one there was none, nor could you get it at any store and we tried! So you may experience shortages that are island wide. Like the rest of the world these will ease with time. All staff were friendly and helpful at every turn. None of us had a bad encounter with anyone. There is an au natural beach called Sunset Beach located in a secluded area at one end of resort. It is extremely popular by the guests and many go to CSS for that reason. The beach there is large with a bar, restaurant, pool and amenities one would require for a day on vacation. There are a lot of stairs at this resort as it is built in the side of rocks. Great exercise! This resort has an amazing percentage of return guests and there is one reason. It is a great place to vacation

Our first time at a Couples Resort after many visits to Jamaica was truly special. We had a very nice seaview room (A building) with all amenities, enjoyed the very good food and were impressed with the extremely helpful, friendly and professional staff in all departments. The resort has its own flavour and charms representing traditional Jamaica style. Organized activities are plenty and on top you can enjoy your own private nature walks and fitness walks that lead through the lush vegetation and charming hills and bays of the property. We were also quite impressed with the staff in all departments - very friendly, attentive and professional - and often a nice personal word or gesture or big smile for us. Congratulations to management for a committed and well trained team. Many thanks for this unforgettable experience.
