In the luxury, cultural heart of Amsterdam’s famous Museum Square district, opposite the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and Stedelijk Museum, is the Conservatorium Hotel. Built on the former site of the Sweelinck Conservatory of Music, this luxury lifestyle hotel is situated next to a luxury shopping district, the P.C. Hooftstraat. The sense of arrival in the spacious atrium of this architectural masterpiece is exceptional, combining history with contemporary design. Brushed-oak flooring and beige furniture define the cool autumnal colour scheme in the rooms and suites. Bathrooms are designed with large rainfall showers and oversized tubs. Guests can expect highlights of the city’s culinary scene at Taiko Cuisine, Taiko Bar, and the Brasserie and enjoy a wide range of signature treatments at the hotel’s Akasha Holistic Wellbeing. This spacious and tranquil urban retreat features a dazzling 60-foot pool, a private hammam, and a top-tier, fully-equipped gym.

- air conditioning in the room does not work. No matter what temperature you set it’s way too hot inside - internet does not work - room lock failed and the hotel staff cannot open the door. Lucky I do not have a plane to catch - restaurant staff forgets about your order It’s the collection of technology breakdowns in what is declared to be a 5* hotel.

Stayed a night for Valentine's day. Staff went beyond to make it an unforgettable experience. We had a bottle of champagne, delicious chocolates and roses in the room. Will certainly return when I have the chance.

Highly recommended! Excellent staff! We came for breakfast from another 5 star hotel in Amsterdam and booked through the phone. Instant reply and super helpful! Thank you Colette for your service and kindness! Hope to see you again soon.
