Although we booked a two double bed room, which should have been adequate for our family of three, including a tall teenage boy, the bed size was surprisingly small and appeared to be a single bed. This was disappointing, especially considering the price of almost $400 per night. Additionally, the staff were generally cold and unwelcoming. The breakfast spread was decent, but the service at the breakfast table was very poor due to severe understaffing. Best part of this hotel is its location.
We had a fabulous two nights stay at The Conrad during our recent trip to HongKong. The hotel’s location and view, make it an excellent choice. The service was outstanding, which was refreshing. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
This is our second time to stay in Conrad. My husband and I love this hotel because of its top location in town and outstanding guest service. Regarding location, it is in the center of our planned activities. We can go sightseeing and visit relatives in different districts very easily. The choice of transportation is abundant; MTR, taxi, bus, tram, van etc. They are all within easy reach. The Hotel is in Pacific Place where there are a lot of shops and different kind of restaurants; Chinese, Japanese, French, Vietnamese etc. Regarding service, Mr. Samson Chu, Director of Front Office Operations had excellent memory. He remembered us and welcomed us back as soon as we met. Our last stay was already four years ago. Mr. Chu was superb, he knew exactly what we needed and he treated us like brother and sister. We could see he was managing his Office extremely well. His staff was very efficient, professional and friendly. Another staff we would like to mention is Mr. Moby Mo, Senior Room Butler. He served in Garden Cafe, Lobby Lounge and Executive Lounge. He was a nice and friendly guy. He was very attentive and helpful in fulfilling the needs of guests. In several occasions, he helped me to get the food from the buffet counter. He loved to communicate with guests and we enjoyed his service as well as his love stories.
