Chiringuito Tulum was born out a simple, but powerful vision build an icon of Mediterranean culture in the Caribbean. For us, the Mediterranean is much more than a colour palate and building materials it is a feeling and a way of life. Though architecture, design, and food, we have created a beautiful beachfront boutique hotel. Our public spaces encourage gatherings amongst families, friends, and lovers. Our guest rooms bring a sense of respite and peace.

Avoid the tourist trap hotels with this stylish and authentic boutique hotel. The four resident cats will welcome you and usher in the feeling of relaxation that embodies the area. The friendly and attentive staff cater to your every need. There is no room service, but the restaurant is very causal and offers high quality, healthy, local cuisine all hours of the day. We dined at all of the popular high-end restaurants in Tulum and the food at this hotel was the best we had. The Mediterranean sampler is not to be missed, but literally every dish was exceptional. Also, the optional continental breakfast is well worth it. The fruit and juice is fresh, local, and seasonal. The assortments of pastries were fresh and straight from the oven. The hotel is on the beach and provides lounge chairs, umbrellas, food and drink service at the beach. We stayed in a room with a private roof top pool which we never used, as we preferred the warmer ocean. The location is on the southern end of the hotel zone, very close to Sian Ka’an National park, so it is a peaceful and relaxing location, yet still walking distance to many nearby boutiques and restaurants. The best part of the hotel was the attentive and friendly staff, but it decor was also very stylish and the DJ provided a great selection of music day and night, adding to the ambiance. Highly recommend all around!

Chiringuito is an excellent boutique hotel located in the quiet, southern, part of the Tulum beach road. My husband and I originally had a different hotel booked, which cancelled on us at the last minute. Luckily, Chiringuito had an open room and welcomed us in so that we could celebrate our wedding anniversary! This hotel is a gorgeous and tranquil paradise. The rooms are clean and spacious. The stunning pool provides a refreshing escape. The beach could not be more beautiful with plenty of comfy beds and sun loungers for guests. The entire staff is phenomenal, especially the wait staff in the restaurant and on the beach. Speaking of the restaurant, the food is delicious. Even a continental breakfast is beautifully plated and scrumptious. Chiringuito also had super-fast Wifi. Do yourself a favor and book a vacation here immediately. We will definitely return!

We had a great stay at Chiringuito Tulum. We were there for 8 days on our honeymoon. It's very small and intimate, which was perfect for us, and less expensive than many of the other hotels in the beach area. The property is beautiful--right on the beach, but also surrounded by maintained jungle plants. We had a deluxe room with a private dip pool on the roof. The room was beautiful and very clean, and we loved spending time on the roof. Air conditioning and wifi worked great the whole time. The wifi even reached out to the beach with full signal, which was amazing. Every staff member at the hotel was friendly and approachable, great service. The food at the restaurant was amazing, including the very detailed continental breakfast. There were a few days that we had to leave the hotel before breakfast time to go on tours, and they gave us a boxed meal the night before that we could eat instead. The beach club was really nice and never crowded. There are tons of restaurants and shops nearby. The whole place was just calm, peaceful, and beautiful and allowed us to decompress and rest post-wedding. The only suggestion I have is that they add an in-house bike rental. The beach road is very long and Chiringuito Tulum is pretty far down the road, so it's not very easy to get into town or up and down the beach road without a taxi. There aren't bike rentals within a reasonable distance of the hotel so it wasn't super easy to move around.
