Casa Morgano Hotel

We recently stayed at Casa Morgano in Capri, Italy, a hotel we have stayed in many times before. This time our stay was a thorough disappointment - - - actually it was a disgrace. The hotel has fallen far below any level of acceptability for a luxury hotel. Maid service was minimal. No turn down service. Half drunk soda left in mini bar. Half eaten food left in the room for days. Antiquated systems for air conditioning and television that no one had the courtesy to show us. Broken glass left on the floor—obviously no one was sweeping. Thick cobwebs in the light fixtures. Leaky, dangerous shower. It is a shame to see a once lovely hotel so badly deteriorated and poorly managed. A client for many years. No more.

Casa Morgano on the Isle of Capri was the highlight of our Amalfi Coast travels. Our Junior Suite was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully appointed, with a luxurious balcony with a spectacular sea view. The staff was courteous and accommodated our dinner reservations and transfers to the port.

The staff were the highlight of our stay starting from the manager and the waiters(Joseph and Tito) up-to the cleaning lady mrs. Shihana. We asked for an iron (which is normally available in a 5 stars hotel) but they didn’t have one unfortunately, overall it’s a very nice hotel and two nights were enough to stay in Capri.
