Staff friendly Facilities clean Location perfect. Had a wonderful experience maybe add a mirror in 222 above the outside sink so it can be used as a vanity also the view would be amazing but it’s blocked ultimately those are suggestions that didn’t change a wonderful experience

The Hotel itself was very clean, rooms were fairly good size comparison to other stay in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful, one excellent server experience and one poor server experience. The band and ambient was awesome drinks were good, food was delicious. The only problem I had was the language barrier, concern when I called to dispute or understand charges to my credit card. Neither Spanish nor English were we able to receive or deliver contact information. I still haven't received an itemized statement for charges received.

We stayed Cardoza for 10 nights in August. We were very happy with the size of our standard double room and found the bed very comfortable. Bathroom was functional, but could do with some counter top space in there (although plenty in the room). Before booking I had read some write-ups plugging this hotel as 'luxury' accommodation, and while we enjoyed our stay, I wouldn't call it luxury (nor were we expecting it). The attachment for the shower head was broken so and it was difficult to balance the showerhead. The furniture was chipped and worn, with one drawer refusing to stay shut, which we would bang into when we needed a night time trip to the loo. There was stains on the side of the bed (previous occupants self tanning cream?)The aircon kept the room very cool and comfortable, but was extremely noisy. We didn't report any of these issues as we could work around them, and we assumed it was known to staff anyway. Mentioning it in case you have in your head this is a luxury stay. Our room was at the side of the hotel so we were lucky enough to not have external noise or restaurant noise interrupt our sleep. However, it sounded at times people were in the room with us when returning from their nights out. This is not the fault of the hotel, but again worth a mention! Location is amazing and the joys of Miami Beach are all on the doorstep. We used the towels from the front desk for our trips to the beach, coffee was available most (not all) mornings and not always on our floor. When we could find it - it was appreciated. Bus stops were nearby and easy to navigate to get Downtown for links to other places (we went to a Marlins baseball match, Wynwood Walls and Key Biscayne on public transport, plus we hired bikes and cycled over to Virginia Key to go kayaking). Airport Express bus also drops off/picks up very close to hotel. We enjoyed our stay on this stunning looking Art Deco hotel and found the positives outweighed the negatives I have mentioned.
