Bay Gardens Beach Resort

Exceptional service and friendly staff. This was my second visit to the Bay Gardens Beach Resort and it was an outstanding vacation. Weather was beautiful, beach and water were lovely, good tropical drinks from the beach/pool bar. Cannot speak more highly of this resort.

We booked the trip through hotel website because it seemed better deal than other website. We were charged $60 more than it was mentioned on the confirmation email, and waiting for the response from the hotel. We asked question via email or comment section during the online booking, but the response wasn’t immediate or none. Recommend to call them if you need answers. It took about 2hrs from airport by shared shuttle. Hotel facility was excellent in cleanliness and well maintained. Hotel staff service was excellent in friendliness, but not courteous beyond the guidelines. In other words, their customer service met our expectations but not to the level of going above and beyond , or surprise and delight. Food was delicious and we were so satisfied. We preferred to eat at hotel rather than challenging restaurants outside because they provided excellent dishes. Water park and rental equipment were excellent and we enjoyed most of it. The beach was so relaxing, clean and not overcrowded at all except independence holiday. If you travel with children, even teens will enjoy during the stay.

My husband and I are finishing our last of 5 nights here at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort. We are sitting on our patio enjoying the beautiful sunset. We have a two queen room ocean view. We were disappointed that we did not get a higher level room. If you have any allegeries to cats, then be aware they hang out by the lower patios all the time. The resort is very pretty and peaceful. Our beds were very comfortable, and the room cooled with the A/C well at night. The beach area is beautiful and the water is calm. We did not choose the all-inclusive option. The food we had at lunch our first day was not that good. We walked to local restaurants nearby and we really enjoyed the food nearby. The glitches that we ran into were our room key stopped working. It took a bit to get back into our room to get to the beach. The cleaning lady wanted to get in the room also. We had to work around her. On St. Lucia's Independence Day, there were a lot of people on the beach, and they had rented chairs. We were unable to find any. The front desk said first come, first serve. Then, the manager stepped in and made things happen. She is a go-getter. We had a few problems not getting hand towels, shampoo, and toilet paper, but if we went to the front desk, then these things were delivered. The bar staff were not that friendly. Not sure if that was because we were not all-inclusive. All in all, it was a beautiful place and we were happy to stay here.
