We had an amazing stay at this fab hotel recently. The hotel itself is really well located next to the beach. It has 2 gorgeous pool areas, which never felt crowded with a good poolside bar. The breakfast had fantastic choice, we really enjoyed everything about the breakfast, can recommend the cold meats, cheese and salsa on bread (Spanish style) with some churros and a glass of bubbles! The rooms were comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. We used the outdoor gym most mornings as they had yoga and other classes. It was nice working out Al fresco. Tip for the hotel they definitely could do with more yoga mats, blocks etc and the complimentary water was never stocked up meaning if we had to buy water it was expensive €4.60 for a large bottle. With that said a little supermarket is a short walk into town so getting supplies there is a better idea. Loved the fact that you can walk into town easily and safety on footpaths with lots of lovely restaurants at your disposal. We also used the wellness centre and the therapist was so lovely and gave very good massages! Other tips is there is a little dive centre where you can hire SUP,s which was fun and a nice local walk to the lighthouse. Drinks at the restaurant were expensive but I guess that’s hotel prices. We were not all inclusive. We did not eat at the magical restaurant it was quite quiet but we went for drinks, the cocktails were amazing and the decor looked lovely, I hope they get busier as it looked good! The staff were friendly and we had a really lovely holiday, thank you Barceló!

Recently returned from 7 nights at this property.Staff are excellent and the property is light and bright. The rooms are good and comfortable albeit with an odd bathroom arrangement which won’t be to everyone’s taste. We stayed on the third floor of B block in Room 302. Stayed in a half board basis and the food offering in the buffet restaurant is the sole reason I’ve deducted a point. The food itself is fine but the choice isn’t great plus the Achilles heel is the fact that it’s placed on a servery that isn’t hot enough and as the hotel has no plate warmers the food is placed on cold plates and by the time it reaches your table it’s either just lukewarm or stone cold. This is a real shame as the kitchen staff obviously work hard but this is undone for the sake of a couple of plate warmers and turning the servery temp up a few degrees..

Fantastic hotel. Well designed, modern decor with all the facilities you could require. Excellent staff with very high standards made this a wonderfully relaxing holiday. 7 days went too quickly. Anna in the hotel bar mixed some divine cocktails. Hotel buffet dinner was the best we have experienced - it was evident that the chef's bringing out the paella etc took real pride in their job. Whilst we booed DB&B we had expected to dine out at other restauarnts at least 4 nights out of the 7. We ate at Barcelo every night!!
