We would like to thank the entire staff of Bandos who made our stay a memorable one. This was our second visit to Maldives and a special one as we were here to celebrate our son's first birthday. The resort staff had arranged a cake for us. We had also hired the resort photographer to click our pictures at sunset. We had booked standard rooms which were a decent size right on the beach. We went for the half board option. Snorkeling in the open waters right in front of our rooms was amazing. The water is clean and clear and we had great view of the sea life beneath. We had carried our own snorkeling gear. The resort has many other water sport activities. We did canoeing which was fun. We tried the food at all the restaurants in the resort. Gallery restaurant had a good breakfast spread. Bar at the pool was my favourite place. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place.
It's a very quiet place when you enter the azure blue water everything is like a big aquarium you can snorkel and see fish of all colors. the food is very good and varied and the staff very kind, we really had a very pleasant surprise when on the last evening a very nice festive meal was prepared for us by one of the staff (Afifa) for which we were very happy and amazed.
Husband booked holiday as a surprise Christmas present, amazing. We've stayed in Bandos 4 times previous to this visit. We stayed in a standard room as we don't spend much time in the room anyway but they desperately need renovating (we were informed that there are planning to upgrade all standard rooms). We totally relaxed for 2 weeks, soaking up the sun either on the beach or at the pool. On previous visits all staff were so friendly and we got to know them quite well but on this occasion felt there was no personal touch with any of the staff apart from Guru at the pool bar who was polite and friendly and always had time to chat whilst serving the drinks. Food became quite boring in the gallery restaurant so we did try seabreeze and the grill where food was delicious. Good to see the many improvements that have been made and hopefully it's not long before standard rooms are given a face-lift as they appear to be neglected.
