Very very friendly staff, reception staff and lovely sea views and pools. We enjoyed the food and general atmosphere however im giving this hotel a 3 star rating for the non existent air conditioning in the rooms and buffet area. The air conditioning in our sauna of a room with 39 degrees outside and 45 degrees inside just did not work. All doors and slidings doors were shut and the units worked and worked and no cold air came out and the control was set to 18 degrees. Most terrible sleep weve ever had because of the heat and we were drenched in swet everytime we stepped in the room. Management needs to address the issue! Other than that all was fine but perhaps will visit again in cooler months.
This was the worst hotel I have ever been to at all levels. The positive comments regarding this hotel do not correspond to reality at all. This hotel has the worst private bathrooms in the rooms I've ever seen, the shower doesn't have a support to be placed on high, the beds are terrible, they put me in the room with 2 single beds, when I was asked from the moment of booking to put them double bed, the bathroom's air circulation system makes a deafening noise that causes headaches while taking a shower, the breakfast is terrible, in 7 nights they only cleaned the room once, because I had to demand it. Their excuse is that they would only clean the room twice a week because of the Covid pandemic. Everything is a lie, because in this hotel neither the staff nor the guests respect the pandemic rules, namely the use of masks. So don't use the excuse that you can only clean the rooms twice a week because of the pandemic, when you were only there once at my request. They don't put amenities on a daily basis. I had to ask the reception every day to provide me with amenities. And finally, employees are terrible at work. And all this in a hotel that has the price of an expensive stay. And to think I went to a 4 star hotel, which can be horrible, even compared to many 2 star hotels I've been to.
This could be a nice hotel if it weren't for it being so dominated by Club Lookea, TUI France's "holiday animators". Loud music by the pool throughout the day, various activities that meant you briefly couldn't use one or both of the pools (the worst being a diving competition, at a pool with "no diving" signs everywhere. The final insult was the last day of our holiday - at midday we were told both pools were now closed for the rest of the day, so that they could prepare for Bastille Day (in greece!). We paid for an 8 day holiday with a pool and only got 7. If the hotel is going to allow Club Lookea to dictate the use of the hotel facilities for all guests, they shouldn't allow independent bookings.
