Azulik Resort

Incredible construction / architecture, but terrible service. The employees seem all to be doing a favour to service their guests… Our first room had water dropping from the ceiling (!), the front door key did not work (!), no one seemed to bother… It took several calls for the hotel to change us to a new room (hours later). Plus… you have to be prepared for the rooms - if your neighbour walks by, s/he can see everything inside your room. Maybe we’re too conservative, but it’s not our kind of hotel. This said, the photos don’t do justice to the outstanding architecture of the place.

What a wonderful stay at Azulik in Tulum, it has been an amazing experience ! Every corner of this hotel is an experiment itself, especially the beach infrastructures are fabulous. A special thanks to Diana from the angels team who made all the magic happen :)

Just overpriced Beach Club (as expected)… the only reason to go there is the spectacular architecture, but everything else is not worth it.. From Minute one, you don’t get the service you can expect for that money.. service personal was not friendly, we had the feeling we were allowed to stay there instead of being treated as clients and every step you did was under observation, even when going to the bathroom.. we had breakfast reservation but had to sit at the bar, we had to pay for everything in advance as if they don’t trust us (attention breakfast minimum consumption is separated from the minimum consumption at the beach club).. the waiter at the beach club said we had to pay more tip although we already gave tip, that it was obligatory, although we spend more money than the the minimum consumption+extra breakfast, just ridiculous for that service..
