Stayed here for three nights in October 2022. The hotel is very clean. I had a standard twin room which was spacious enough. The room was light and airy. The hotel lobby is well designed and staff very friendly and welcoming. I booked this hotel as I wanted a quiet area in Santorini that I could relax in. The breakfast was ok, didn't love it but didn't hate it either. It was in the other building across the road and they have a lovely outside seating area. The hotel has a private beach area opposite the hotel. It was never too busy and hotel provides grey towels to use. There is a bus stop 5 minutes from the hotel which takes you to Fira. From there you can transfer to other buses if you want to head to places like Oia. The bus stop is Bob's Bar for both sides of the road. If taking the bus, do remember this as the conductor will shout the name of the stop and you have to confirm by saying yes that is your stop otherwise they may not atop. There is no bell to ring like UK buses. There are lots of restaurants and little shops nearby although I am avoided the restaurants on the main road where the hotel was. Can't recommend Mama's Food enough. It is tucked away on a side street and is less than 10 minutes walk away. Overall I liked the hotel. My only gripes are that the bed was very uncomfortable. By the time I left, I was very achy and so that alone would stop me staying there again. Also it would be good if they had the do not disturb signs. The cleaner came in very early to clean whilst I was at breakfast and moved my things like pyjamas and eye mask for sleeping in order to make the bed. Also had electronics out. Had I known they come in so early, I would have put away my things.
The room was very clean, the grounds were immaculate. The staff at the front desk exceptional, Mariliena was very professional, but yet friendly. The waiters at the pool bar, Dimitri and Dimitri were amazing., Amy drink we asked for was presented artfully. The staff in the Olive Restaurant, fantastic. We had Harry taking care of us most of the time. Harri was a doll. The food was for lunch and dinner was five star! The buffet breakfast was not to our liking. The scrambled eggs and sunny side eggs were cold and hard, we have feasted in many countries, but this was not great at all.
After travelling for three weeks throughout Turkey, we came to Kos for some downtime. We definitely found it here. From the moment you walk through the front door, you are always greeted by a smiling staff member. The welcome Prosecco is a lovely touch! Room amenities are perfect, and if anything is needed, just ask. The manager’s reception on Friday night with cocktails, appetizers, and lovely music was insightful and informative with each managers’ passion for detail. Thank you to both Kostas and Paris. You and all the staff here have made it a trip to remember.
