Hotel Overview
The name of Aplai Dome wasn’t inspired, but it has remained unchanged for centuries, so we decided to keep this name and its history. “Dome” represents the main architecture of the place, while Aplai used to call this property as a hillside, giving the Aplai Dome unobstructed sea views.
In absolute harmony with island’s architecture Aplai Dome is built in Oia’ s area. It is only 170 meters far from Oia’s centre where you can admire the unique and worldwide known Caldera of Santorini and at the same time to visit high aesthetic shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.

Loved this hotel!
We only stayed one night to visit family in Oia. We felt very lucky to have found this hotel through booking.com. The service was excellent. This included before we even arrived, some lovely messages from Chrisa asking about our stay. Upon arrival it was so nice to be met by her and given lots of advice on places to go in Oia. We were a little early but had a nice snack by the pool. Again service by the bar staff was fantastic. The view by the pool is beautiful and a great place to cool down and relax. As soon as our room was ready we were shown around and able to access it a little earlier. The hotel is located just a 10minute walk from the main centre of Oia. Our room had a jacuzzi on the balcony. Great views and a lovely way to relax. There was a complimentary large bottle of water in the fridge, coffee/tea and kettle, lovely large rooms, clean and modern looking. Breakfast was served by the pool, again this was excellent with a good choice of cold and hot food. We had parking for our hire car and when we left were given a small but lovely gift. It really is the little touches that can set a hotel out for all the right reasons. Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in Oia and we would go back (we would have stayed another night but our room wasn’t available!).

Great location
We loved the location close to the centre of Oia. Only a 5 minute walk up the road. Chrisa was so helpful organising taxis for us in advance. We loved the pool area including the jacuzzi jets in the pool. A great breakfast too. Highly recommend.

Perfection
This hotel was absolutely perfect- from the staff, facilities,room and location ...I wouldn't change one but. It was just magical. Our room was spectacular. It had plenty of space and a Jacuzzi on the balcony which overlooked the sunset every night. The staff here were all so welcoming and happy and very informative. I really cannot fault this place. The 5-minute walk to oia was actually a nice walk, albeit uphill. I really enjoyed getting out of the chaos and crazy streets and am so glad we chose to stay a bit further out. I would 100% stay again and have already started recommending it!
