We had a great afternoon at Virbra’s pool enjoying the sun, music and drinks. The bar tender Mario gave us a great service as well as loads of tips of places to visit around the island. Drinks are good and reasonably priced. Will definitely come back next time I am around.

A disaster: nonexistent service, no animation, no pool party, cleaning not done, towels not replaced, and we even had to go out and buy shower gel. The reception staff are unfriendly, you can clearly tell they are just there to make money while providing the bare minimum service. More broadly, this aligns with the Ibiza experience: an overrated place where you are not welcome and where the boredom reaches an unacceptable level. Even my son found it awful, just like my daughter who had warned me and chose not to come. The expectation when going to Ibiza is to party: to dance, meet people, and have fun. And this expectation was not met: not even a DJ on En Bossa beach, no one dancing, empty restaurants and bars, no entertainment, people looking miserable and not responding when greeted with a smile. In all honesty, I had more fun on the beach in Rome with a DJ, even though I hadn’t gone there for that. And yet, it wasn’t for lack of asking the reception several times where to go out. I didn’t even manage to have a conversation during the entire vacation; the only people who approached us were trying to sell us something. The height of stupidity was the waiter who demanded a tip. Another “joke” was Ushuaia, which opens at 5 PM and closes at 11 PM. Are you serious? What kind of party is that, a birthday snack? Or does everyone have to be home by midnight to avoid turning into a pumpkin? As a result, we switched to minimum spending mode in order to leave as soon as possible.

We stayed here end of April 3 friends for 2 nights. Breakfast was lovely. Rooms were clean apart from bed bug bites.. but security and reception were rude. We had them banging on our door for talking at 1300 in the afternoon... we had music on at 11 , they complained about that so we turned it off then they hammered the door about us talking trying to intimidate us as we were 3 girls. The next day a group of lads had a full blown party in their room and didn't get a single knock on their door.
