Anemos Luxury Grand Resort

Plenty of well trained and cheerful staff makes this a delight. It’s so lovely to see such an efficient team. If you’re worried about your weight don’t go - the evening buffet has so much choice you can’t resist. Right on the beach and within walking distance of Georgioupolis it’s ideally placed.

We have had a lovely relaxing holiday here, hard to fault anything. The best part was the level of service from fantastic staff members. There seem to be plenty of friendly helpful staff in all areas, things seem to work almost effortlessly. Food in the main buffet restaurant, Meltemi, was really good; lots of variety, different choices each day, all seemed freshly prepared and well presented. Desserts were particularly good. Of the specialty restaurants, The Greek one, Maestro Vento, and the grill, Osteria, were really good. The Italian, Laventes, was ok but the staff rushed us too much. The fish restaurant, Sirocco, was a disappointment; the dishes in the evening were very imaginative but most lacked flavour. The lunchtime choice there was quite limited. All inclusive worked well. The room was lovely and kept very clean. It had a good sized balcony with sea view, and a lovely bathroom with bath and shower. The hotel is really well designed and laid out, it always felt relaxed and never crowded. There were always loungers available at the beach and round the pool. There were always seats free in the bars and restaurants. The setting is fantastic; the beach is very long and very sandy. The backdrop of the mountains in beautiful. The only thing we didn’t like was that guests were allowed to smoke indoors, including in restaurants. As non smokers this does affect our enjoyment of a meal. Some of the sun loungers need repairing or replacing.

We have recently returned from this wonderful hotel and would not hesitate to return! The level of customer service is outstanding, the resort, gardens and pools are beautiful and maintained to a very high standard, the dining experiences were excellent (particularly the a la carte) and the cocktails first class. Our room was very well equipped with good quality toiletries, nespresso machine, fridge and gowns and was cleaned immacutely every day by the delightful Maria. Nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend! Thank you to the whole Anemos team for looking after us so well.
