Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht

A lovely stay as part of a larger group. Lovely warm welcome on arrival and my room ready a little early for check-in which was a great help. Bedroom itself was modern, bed comfortable and 2 canal facing windows. Took a bit of getting used to the sink in the middle of the room. Powerful enclosed shower and nice toiletries. Nice that mini bar is complimentary and replenished during your stay. No noise from outside or within the hotel. Throughout the hotel it has its own unique style/concept/art. Certainly never had a pair of porcelain clogs on my bedroom wall before. Food wise the quality was good, even if some of the combinations (conference sandwiches) were not to my personal taste. Certainly breakfast was a very nice offering in the garden room (with the artificial sound of birds). Checkout is a generous midday if needed. Not cheap but nice.

Fantastic hotel with a wonderful staff (everyone from front desk to the restaurants and bar). The rooms are very comfortable, great AC, and quiet. Public spaces are all very inviting and comfortable including great music played at the perfect volume. We also really enjoyed the food and beverage offerings. I've stayed at numerous hotels in Amsterdam, and, this is by far my favorite.

Couldn't ask for a better experience while enjoying our first visit to Amsterdam. Love the location...just far away enough from the crowds near the city center but convenient to great restaurants and museums. The Andaz staff was always attentive and helpful. The rooms were clean and efficient and loved the walk in shower. Great breakfast buffet and the bar was always hopping in the evening.
