We’re located on a secluded private island 400km south of the Maldives capital Male, in the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, an Indian Ocean paradise. This isolated haven, with its tropical greenery, crystal-clear turquoise waters and white sandy beaches, is the paradise that is Amari Havodda Maldives. Reserved just for you, this untouched sanctuary allows you to truly disconnect and recharge on your own terms.

An island with a beautiful coral reef, well-preserved nature for a resort that deserves more attention, especially for its cuisine. Recommended for those seeking good contact with nature and with a well-maintained reef just a few meters from the shore. Pity about the catering/ food, which certainly does not live up to the beauty of the island.

This is our 5th trip to Maldives or paradise as we call it. So we have enough experience behind us to understand the value of this resort. Will start by saying that we are coming from Anantara Kihavah last year, so from a upper class 5* resort. But i can say that most of expectations were met. Why pay 3x the price of Havodda when you can have most of the experience for a bargain. The transfer for us was very fast, only 1 hour wait time so we were in the resort la 2:30Pm, and that was amazing. The service for us was very good, yes there was some waiting now and then but most of the times everything moved as expected. The food, this was the first buffet resort that we really enjoyed. The difference between a 4.5* resort as Havodda and upper tier is that you usually get ALC dinning, but to our surprise the food was very good and varied. The reef, it's amazing one of the most recovered reefs i ever saw. Full of color, it was the first time i was looking at corals and not at the fish. Warmly recommend this reef for avid snorkelers. The accommodation, getting a 120m3 detached villa at 4.5* star resort is amazing also. It was very spacious and was perfect during the stay. We had a Sunset Beach Pool villa. The island, is very beautiful, has a gorgeous lagoon, only minus is that there are sand bags everywhere. Wish they would take care of this and the general vegetation of the island that looks wild in some places. So overall we warmly recommend this resort if you want to have best value for your money.

We spent our nineth stay in Maldives at Amari Havodda resort, and regardless of our former experiences, this stay was the best! The island is trully magnificent, surrounded by a beautiful blue lagoon, and white sand beach bordered by many coconut trees and lush vegetation. Neither too small, nor too big, the perfect size to have a walk on. The hosts were so kind and helpful with us, and the main restaurant is worth a visit. We spent our whole journey in a sunset beach villa that was nicely decorated and really spacious, espacially the bathroom which is amazing. We recommand this type of villa, that is actually located on the best side of the island. But above all, what we experienced the best is underwater! The housereef is in an exceptional state of preservation, teeming with colorful fish, full of white and black tip sharks, peaceful turtles, moray eels, stingrays, octopus, ... We are so glad that our daughter who's not quite fourteen, could experience such a pure paradize on earth.
