Aluasoul Ibiza

I visited the AluaSoul with some friends for a short break, having seen a couple of negative reviews posted just before we arrived, I was a bit apprehensive. I shouldn’t have been! The hotel was great, staff on reception helpful, waiting staff very cheerful and friendly. Special mention to one of the younger male waiters who was extremely polite, friendly and efficient and also Gervais (or similar name) who entertained us with his humour! I honestly don’t get the bad reviews about the food, if you are worried, don’t be! We are a group of girls who appreciate nice quality and there is more than enough fresh delicious food. Fresh salads, seafood, fresh breads, meats and cheeses which are constantly being replaced and topped up. Admittedly we were only there for a short break but even for a week the food would be varied and plentiful. The bedrooms were clean and modern with a great view and we loved the poolside DJ! Thank you AluaSoul we’ll definitely be returning!

The Hotel is located in a perfect spot to either enjoy the facilities at the hotel and/or explore Es Cana or take the trips to Ibiza Town and additional areas by the nearby boat. You have to make a choice to whether you just want to stay at the hotel and not go any further, then all inclusive is best. If you wish to use the Hotel as a base, then other accommodation options may be better as there are a few good places to eat and drink in very close proximity.

Overall a very good hotel with excellant staff, very clean and pretty good food (we were HB) I'm not quite sure why there are so many compalints about the food, it all seemed very reasonable to me and about what you'd expect. Perhaps some travellers set the bar a bit too high on the food front? Fantastic location and decent swimming pools with high quailty entertainment in the evenings. A very talented male/female duo one evning and a great "boy band" type act on aanother evening. The only thing I would say is that it's a touch too noisy around the pool during the day (personal opinion) I understand that some people like a bit of Aqua aerobics but the banging music can grate with your nerves a bit if you're looking for some rest and relaxation. The music continued throughout the water polo and there was a DJ by the pool one afternoon that went on for about an hour and half. I'm not adverse to a bit of daytime entertainment but would prefer it if the banging tunes were limited to say 30 mins a day. I'm well past the Club 18 to 30 days :) Would I recommend this hotel? Yes, I would.
