Aguas De Ibiza Grand Luxe Hotel

Definitely not a 5 star the maintenance around the pool area is poor, grass uncut, broken showers, bits of astroturf randomly in the sand. Access to the pool with a pram is not possible as its all stepped. Cant use the roof top area at all if you have a child, cant use the indoor pool if you have a child. Outside pool is freezing. Roman bath and steam room out of service. No service around the outside bar area. The photographs of the room dont match what you actually get as we did pay for an upgrade. We haven’t experienced the theft or extra charges yet as others have had issues with. Kids club is just a play room with pretty poor toys. Breakfast is ok no pancake/waffle area everything is pre cooked al a carte menu is offered yet havent had anyone come and ask if we would like to order from it. The melia across the road is a much better hotel. Not a family friendly hotel at all

Stayed here for 7 days with my daughter and paid over £2.7k for a premium room and breakfast. The roof top has 3 adult pools which were closed for 2 full days due to private events. Meaning the downstairs family pools were packed out with no sun loungers available. My gold necklace which I put on the dressing table went missing on the second day. I was in a rush and didn't put it in the safe and this never turned up again. I did report it to reception and they said they would look but that was all. I did see some customers question their bills at check out and some getting very upset. I was very careful to not charge anything to the room or use the very expensive mini bar. However, on check out they was a charge for the mini bar for the night before leaving, just as well I had taken pictures of the mini bar before I Ieft the room that morning to prove it was full. Breakfast was lovely but I had to queue most mornings to be seated and also queue to use the tea and coffee machine, which I begrudged as we had paid 60 euro for 2 people for breakfast. As previous reviews the spa is lovely but needs maintenance both the steam room and Turkish bath were closed. Apart from the roof top bar, there was no real service. The reception staff were quite aloof. I had paid a lot of money for a week and was hoping for a more special experience. Overall there are better hotels for the money and I would chose a different hotel in this area if I should visit S. Eulalia again.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, this was our 6th visit, never fails, we were upgraded to one of the newly refurbished suites, which was amazing. The staff are amazing, friendly and always very helpful. Thank you Aquas de Ibiza. See you again next year.
