This was our 3rd visit to this hotel and the first since covid. I was a little worried reading some of the reviews before we travelled. I had booked an ocean front room with jacuzzi, but on reading reviews stating the Jacuzzis were not working, I contacted the hotel directly, and received a partial refund before we travelled. On arrival checking was quick and efficient and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an ocean front suite, which was lovely. All of the staff we came in to contact with during our 2 weeks were all extremely helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble, from the reception staff, to the bar staff and the boys in charge on the beach, they are all a credit to the Hotel. The beach itself is beautiful and the Hotel is well placed to visit the many eateries in the area. The water in the showers can be a bit temperamental, but we managed to have showers and hair washed ever day with no problems, to be honest you don't want a boiling hot shower when you have come in off the beach! The only rudeness we experienced were some of the guests who obviously don't understand when in Barbados you are on Island time, and you need to chill out and relax! Already planning our next visit to this beautiful Island.

Very disappointed on our arrival to be told that a) our ocean front room was unavailable as the hotel was fully booked and b) that none of the jacuzzi’s in the hotel were working. The receptionist told us he would upgrade us then proceeded to put us in probably one of the oldest run down rooms in the hotel. We complained but he wasn’t interested- next day we insisted on seeing a manager and eventually after a couple of hours of asking various reception staff, got to see one, who took us to an empty ocean front room - ( so there was one) It was a lovely room above the beach bar which was great. We booked room only, which I was pleased about as we only had two meals there, breakfast and the themed bbq night and both were very average. There’s much better quality and value outwith the hotel. We know the bars and restaurants in the area and we booked the hotel direct specifically for the luxury of the ocean front room and. followed that up with an email a couple of weeks before we arrived - no response though. First impression always count and the reception staff or at least a couple of them could do with customer service training. Our ocean front room to be fair was great - just wish we didn’t have the first night experience in the old room - This hotel is not 4 star though, we stayed at a 4 star all inclusive hotel just along the road last year which was on a very different level.

Apart from check in everything was excellent. We were given a junior suite which was very comfortable. There was a problem with the shower but this was quickly repaired. The water pressure in our suite was good. You don’t need to bring beach towels as these are provided by the hotel free of charge. We would definitely come back to this hotel
