1 Hotel South Beach

I had a great experience at the hotel, the spa and rooftop were an amazing experience. However, my experience in plnthouse was the opposite. My kids and I came to order food around lunchtime (1-2 not positive the exact time) and we were rushed by one of the employees, I believed her name was gabi. My daughter has celiac and she made it pretty obvious that she was irritated by the modifications my daughter needed in order to avoid a reaction. My daughter already struggles with anxiety/depression about her allergy and this interaction caused us to have to check out a day early because she was so triggered by the whole situation. Maybe she was having a bad day and I get that we are all human but I think when it comes to allergies; something we can’t control, that we should be a little bit more sensitive to a 11 year old girl who has had to accept that her life is going to be more difficult than her friends due to how severe her allergy is. As a father I just felt the need to mention this experience despite my amazing experience with the hotel the rest of my experience. Great hotel and maybe we will be back

This hotel goes above and beyond your expectations. From the moment you walk into the hotel, they are opening doors, directing you to the front desk. The ambience, the experience is like no other. The hotel fragrance resonates with you days after you leave. saying it was a memorable experience is an understatement. Gregorio at the pool bar was attentive. He remembered my name and my drink of choice. I only went to this bar when I needed a drink, no matter whether I was at the beach or rooftop. He takes pride in his work and truly is a valuable team member. The manager Luis was also kind and great managing his team members. It’s obvious Luis’s management skills have a domino effect on his staff. They should both be acknowledged on their commitment to their roles and guest experiences.

The 1 hotel is the most amazing! Everything from guest experience, staff and cleanliness is above and beyond. I especially had an incredible experience with Ali who works at the beach. He went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying the entire time
